Leather Classes at Ravensgate
Have you ever wanted to learn how to make your own leather wallet? Or how about to carve some beautiful artwork into leather? At Ravensgate, we believe leather crafting is a hobby that anyone can enjoy, and we want to share it with you!
We offer two different leather classes you can sign up for depending on which aspect of leather crafting you’re more interested in: Intro to Leather Carving and Intro to Leather Crafting.
Intro to Leather Crafting
Interested in learning the basic techniques of working with leather?
In our 2-hour Intro to Leather Class, we'll walk you through the steps of creating a minimalist wallet, from cutting out the initial pattern to stitching to finishing edges and even adding a stamp of your choice! Then you'll get to make your own keyring, which teaches you additional techniques that are important in leathercraft, such as setting snaps and rivets.
And the best part? You'll have keepsakes from the class you can take home because you will keep what you make!

Intro to Leather Carving
One of the most fun parts of working with leather is carving and tooling your own artwork, which is exactly what you'll get to do in our 2-hour Leather Carving Class.
In this class, we'll teach you the basics of carving and tooling designs on your own coaster set. And the best part is that you get to take your coasters home with you as a keepsake or to use as a gift for someone you love!
